| BARGES - |
Out of my window looking in the night
I can see the barges flickering light
Silently flows the river to the sea
And the barges too go silently
CHORUS:
Barges I would like to go with you
I would like to sail the ocean blue
Barges, have you treasures in your hold
Do you fight with pirates brave and bold
Out of my window looking in the night
I can see the barges flickering light
Starboard shines green and port is glowing red
I can see the barges far ahead
CHORUS
How my heart longs to sail away with you
As I watch you sail the ocean blue
But I must stay behind my window clear
As I watch you sail away from here

| Big River - |
| There's a big river flowin'
It'll be there tomorrow
It's time I should be goin'
There's no time for sorrow
The stars will light the way back home
The song will keep the fire
Remembering the days we roamed
The song will lift you higher
CHORUS:
So sing for the river
And sing for the stars
Sing for the friends you've made
Wherever they are
Sing to bring you back again
Or to take you away
Sing a song with me my friend
Sing for today
The bright stars are glowin'
The full moon's arisin'
The rivers reflecting
The moon on the horizon
Tonight we're sleeping on land
With the stars in our eyes
Dreaming of the friends we've made
'Neath these dark skies
CHORUS
There's a campfire showin'
The friends from our past
Faces of yesterday
And friendships that last
But now we go our separate ways
Although we long to stay
Promising to meet again
Some summer day

| BLOWIN' IN THE WIND - |
How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes and how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes and how many times must the cannonballs fly
Before they're forever banned? CHORUS:
The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind
How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes and how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
CHORUS
How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?
Yes and how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes and how many times can a man turn his head
Pretending he just doesn't see?

| BONNIE BOAT - |
|
CHORUS:
Speed bonnie boat like a bird on the wing
Onward the sailors cry
Carry the lad that's born to be king
Over the sea to Skye
Loud the wind howls, loud the waves roar,
Thunderclaps rend the air
Baffled our foes, stand by the shore
Follow they will not dare
CHORUS
Many's the lad fought on that day
Well the claymore did wield
When the night came, silently lain
Dead on Culloden field
CHORUS
Though the waves heave, soft will ye sleep
Ocean's a royal bed
Rocked in the deep, Flora will keep
Watch by your weary head
CHORUS
Burned are our homes, exile and death
Scatter the loyal men
Yet e'er the sword cool in the sheath
Charlie will come again.
CHORUS

| BOTH SIDES NOW - |
Bows and flows of angels' hair
and ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere,
I've looked at clouds that way
But now they only block the sun,
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I could have done,
But clouds got in my way I've looked at clouds from both sides
now
From up and down and still somehow
It's clouds' illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all
Moons and Junes and Ferris wheels,
The dizzy dancing way you feel
As every fairy tale comes real,
I've looked at love that way
But now it's just another show
You leave them laughing when you go
And if you care don't let them know
Don't give yourself away
I've looked at love from both sides now
From give and take and still somehow
It's love's illusions I recall
I really don't know love at all
Tears and fears and feeling proud
To say "I love you" right out loud,
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds,
I've looked at life that way
But now old friends are acting strange
They shake their heads, they say I've changed
Something's lost and something's gained
In living every day
I've looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all

| BRANDY TREE - |
I go down to the brandy tree
I take my nose and tail with me
All for the world and the wind to see
And never come back no more
Down by the meadow marsh deep and wide
Tumble and tangle by my side
All for the westing wind to run
And slide in the summer rain
Sun come follow my happy way
Wind come walk beside me
Moon on the mountain go with me
A wondrous way I know
I go down to the windy sea
And the little gray seal will play with me
Slide on the rocks and dive in the bay
And sleep on the ledge at night
But the seal don't try to tell me how
To fish in the windy blue
Seal's been fishin' for a thousand years
And he knows that I have too
When the frog goes down to the mud to sleep
And the lamprey hides in the boulders deep
I take my nose and tail and go
A hundred thousand hills
Sun come follow my happy way
Wind come walk beside me
Moon on the mountain go with me
A wondrous way I know
Someday down by the brandy tree
I'll hear the shepherd call for me
Call me to leave my happy ways
And the shining world I know
Sun on the hill come go with me
My days have all been free
The pipes come laughing down the wind
And that's the way I go
That's the way for me

| BRING ME A ROSE - |
Bring me a rose in the wintertime,
when it's hard to find
Bring me a rose in the wintertime,
I've got roses on my mind
For a rose is sweet most any time and yet
Bring me a rose in the wintertime
and how easy we forget Bring me a friend when I'm far from
home,
when they're hard to find
Bring me a friend when I'm far from home,
I've got friendship on my mind
For a friend is sweet most any time and yet
Bring me a friend when I'm far from home
and how easy we forget
Bring me a smile when I'm all alone,
when they're hard to find
Bring me a smile when I'm all alone,
I've got smilin' on my mind
For a smile is sweet most any time and yet
Bring me a smile when I'm all alone

Bring me peace when there's talk of war

| BROOMSTICK COWBOY - |
Dream on little Broomstick Cowboy
Of rocket ships and Mars
Of sunny days and Willie Mays
And chocolate candy bars
Dream on little Broomstick Cowboy
Dream while you can
of big green frogs and puppy dogs
And castles in the sand
For all too soon you'll waken
Your toys will all be gone
Your broomstick horse will ride away
To find another home
And you'll have grown into a man
With cowboy of your own
And then you'll have to go to war
To try and save your home
And then you'll have to learn to hate
You'll have to learn to kill
It's always been that way my son
I guess it always will
No broomstick gun they'll hand you
No longer you'll pretend
You'll call some man your enemy
You used to call him friend
And when the rockets thunder
You'll hear your brothers cry
And through it all you'll wonder
Just why they had to die
So dream on little Broomstick Cowboy
Dream while you can
For soon you'll be a dreadful thing
My son, you'll be a man
I think we sang this a bit differently in terms of the order
of verses and whatnot, but I don't know exactly how it fits together.
If any of you remember please let me know. Thanks!

Call him again
For on rolls the river
And fast falls the rain

His boat is at rest
And his oars lie aground
On rolls the river
So rapid and deep
But the louder that you call John
The sounder he will sleep

| CATCH THE WIND - |
| In the chilly hours and minutes
of uncertainty I long to be
In the warm hold of your loving arms
To feel you all around me
And to take your hand, walk along the sand
Ah, but I may as well try and catch the wind
When the sundown pales the sky
I want to hide awhile behind your smile
And everywhere I look your eyes I find
For you to love me now
Would be the sweetest thing, 'twould make me sing
Ah, but I may as well try and catch the wind
When the rain has hung the leaves with tears
I want you near to quell my fears
And for me to leave all my fears behind
For standing in your heart
Is where I want to be, I long to be
Ah, but I may as well try and catch the wind

| CHILD OF GOD (repeat song) - |
| Italicized
words are not repeated but are sung by all Come on and hold
my hand
I'm a child of God
Come on and hold my hand
I'm a child of God
Well I was born with the sun in my eyes
And I don't like to see anyone cry
So hold my hand
I'm a child of God
Come on and hold my hand
On a rainy day
Come on and hold my hand
I'll help you find the way
For we all need somebody beside us
We need a little bit of love to guide us
So hold my hand
On a rainy day
Come on and hold my hand
When the sky is blue
Come on and hold my hand
I want to be with you
For if you ever get sad and lonely
I'm gonna get sad and lonely too
So hold my hand
And let the sun shine through
Come on and hold my hand
And feel my love
Come on and hold my hand
It's like a snow-white dove
For there's so much we could find together
That we could never ever find alone
So hold my hand
And make my world your own
Come on and hold my hand
I'm a child of God
Come on and hold my hand
I'm a child of God
Well I was born with the sun in my eyes
And I don't like to see anyone cry
So hold my hand
We're all children of God

| CIRCLE GAME - |
| Yesterday a child came out
to wander
Caught a dragonfly inside a jar
Fearful when the sky was full of thunder
And tearful at the falling of a star
CHORUS:
And the seasons, they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on a carousel of time
We can't return we can only look
Behind from where we came
And go round and round and round in the circle game
Then the child turned ten times round the seasons
Skated over ten clear frozen streams
Words like 'when you're older' must appease him
And promises of someday make his dreams
CHORUS
Sixteen springs and sixteen summers gone now
Cartwheels turned to car-wheels through the town
And they tell him, "Take your time, it won't be long now
'Til you drag your feet to slow the circles down."
CHORUS
Years spin by and now the child is twenty
Dreams have lost some grandeur coming true
There'll be new dreams, maybe better dreams, and plenty
Before that last revolving year is through
CHORUS

| COME TO YOU AGAIN - |
| You look to be the hurt one,
I've seen your face before
You felt so much one time but now you don't feel anymore
I don't know if you hear me, you hardly ever smile
But your hand's around my heart
so let me sing to you awhile
CHORUS:
And you can let the music take you, follow where it leads
Or turn it any way you want to, make it what you need.
Lose yourself in dreamin' or sink yourself in pain
Or maybe find yourself in love and it will come to you again
Your gaze goes off to nowhere,
your eyes are shining bright
Whatever have you seen that's left you shaken at the sight
I know I can't undo it and I can't pull you through
But let me give you what I can and let me sing to you
CHORUS
I'll sing to you of summer
I'll sing to you of snow
Of places I have been to and of places I will go
A song for you to laugh at, a song to make you cry
A song about I love you and a song about good-bye
CHORUS
It will come to you again
It will come to you again
It will come once again

|
From out the battered Elm Tree, the owl's cry we hear.
And from the distant forest, the cuckko answers clear.
Cuckkoo, cuckkoo, cuckkoo
Cuckkoo, cuckko, cuckkoo
Mr. Moon, Mr Moon you're out to soon,
the sun is still in the sky.
Go back to your bed and cover up your head,
and wait till the day's gone by.
WHEN YOU SING THIS IN A ROUND, EVERYONE SHOULD END
AT THE SAME TIME. SO THE GROUP THAT STARTS FIRST SHOULD SING THE
SONG THROUGH, THEN SING THE FIRST TWO VERSES AGAIN; THE SECOND GROUP
SHOULD SING THE SONG THROUGH, THEn SING THE FIRST VERSE AGAIN; AND THE
THIRD GROUP SHOULD JUST SING THE SONG ONCE THROUGH. |

For I must go far away
Darlin' won't you wait, won't you wait, won't you wait
'Til I come back home to stay
Should another love come along, come along
Simply say that you're not free
Send him on his way, on his way, on his way
Darlin' won't you wait for me?
Oh my love, some of us they say are bound to die
Oh my love, how it breaks my heart to say good-bye
Oh my love, when I'm far away I'll miss you so
Hold me close, kiss me once again before I go
(SING FIRST VERSE TOGETHER THEN SPLIT SO THAT HALF THE GROUP
SINGS IT AGAIN WHILE THE OTHER HALF SINGS THE SECOND VERSE, THEN SWITCH)

| DONA - |
| On a wagon bound for market,
There's a calf with a mournful eye.
High above him there's a swallow
Winging softly through the sky
CHORUS:
How the winds are laughing (they're laughing)
They laugh with all their might.
Laugh and laugh the whole day through
And half the summer's night
Singing dona dona dona dona dona
Dona dona dona dona
Laugh and laugh the whole day through
And half the summer's night
"Stop complaining," said the farmer
"Who told you a calf to be?"
"Why don't you have wings to fly with
Like the swallow so proud and free?"
CHORUS
Calves are easily bound and slaughtered,
Never knowing the reason why.
Those who truly value freedom
Like the swallow must learn to fly

May all of your dreams bloom like daisies in the sun
And may you always have stars in your eyes
May you not stop running not until your race is run

A dream is something all your own
to keep within your heart
To build on when you're sad
or when your world's been torn apart
A dream is something all your own
that no one else can steal
A dream is something you can make come real
CHORUS

Or you can share your money with a beggar on the street
But you can only shar a dream once love has set it free

| THE GIFT - |
| I have a little present here
for you
Inside this tiny bottle so very small and blue
So please do not uncork it, simply put it on its way
For inside there lies a summer's day, put it on its way
Now I'd be pleased if you didn't ask
why I gave this gift to you
Don't know myself, did it on a whim
as the thought came runnin' through
See I just wanna make you happy
in a summertime sort of way
And I thought you might like your own summer's day,
put it on its way
Now can you read the writing on this tiny bottle wall?
I know that it's quite small, but I can read it all
It says "she who is a'readin' me
is a'lookin' right at my side
And might be sort of interested at what lies inside
There'll be one breath of a butterfly, one ray from the sun
And lots and lots of laughter from little children's fun
So don't you dare uncork it 'cause everything'll get away
And I want you to have your own summer's day, put it on its way
I have a little present here for you
Inside this tiny bottle so very small and blue
So please do not uncork it, simply put it on its way
For inside there lies a summer's day, put it on its way

| GREY FUNNEL LINE - |
| Don't mind the rain or the
rollin' sea
Those weary nights never worried me
But the hardest part in a sailor's day
Is to watch the sun as it dies away
Here's one more day on the Grey Funnel Line
The finest ship you've ever seen
Is still a prison to the likes of me
Just give me wings like Noah's dove
And I'll fly above her to the one I love
Here's one more day on the Grey Funnel Line
Oh Lord, if dreams were only real
I'd place my hand on that wooden wheel
And with all my heart I'd turn her around
And tell the boys that we're homeward bound
Here's one more day on the Grey Funnel Line
Now I pass these days like some machine
Until blue waters turn to green
And I dance my way down that walk ashore
To sail the Grey Funnel Line no more
Here's one more day on the Grey Funnel Line
Here's one more day on the Grey Funnel Line

| GYPSY ROVER - |

Down through the valley so shady
He whistled and he sang til the green woods rang
And he won the heart of a lady
CHORUS:
Ah-dee doo ah-dee doo ah-dee day
Ah-dee doo ah-dee day-dee
He whistled and he sang 'til the green woods rang
And he won the heart of a lady
She left her father's castle gate
She left her own fond lover
She left her servants and her estate
To follow the gypsy rover
CHORUS
Her father saddled his fastest steed
Searched the valleys all over
Seeking his daughter at great speed
And the whistling gypsy rover
CHORUS
They came at last to a mansion fine
On the banks of the River Claydie
And there was music and there was wine
For the gypsy and his lady
CHORUS
"He is no gypsy, my father," she cried
"He rules these lands all over
I will stay with him 'til my dying day
With the whistling gypsy rover"

| HOUSE AT POOH CORNER - |
| Christopher Robin and I walked
along
Under branches lit up by the moon
Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore
As the days passed away all too soon
But I've wandered much farther today than I should
And I can't seem to find my way back to the wood
CHORUS:
So help me if you can I've got to get
Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised there's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh
Winnie-the-Pooh doesn't know what to do
He's got a honey jar stuck on his nose
He came to me asking help and advice
And from there no one knows where he goes
So I sent him to ask of the owl if he's there
How to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear
CHORUS
It's hard to explain how a few precious things
Seem to follow us all through our lives
After all's said and done I was watching my son
Sleeping there with my bear by his side
So I tucked him and kissed him and as I was done
I swear that old bear whispered "Boy, welcome home"
Believe me if you can I've found my way
Back to the house at Pooh Corner by one
Wouldn't you know there's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and
Back to the ways of Christopher Robin and
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh

Already I'm so lonesome I could cry
CHORUS:
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me

'Cause I'm leavin' on a jetplane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go
There's so many times I've let you down
So many times I played around
I tell you now, they don't mean a thing
Every place I go I'll think of you
Every song I sing I'll sing for you
When I come back I'll wear your wedding ring
CHORUS
Now the time has come to leave you
One more time just let me kiss you
Then close your eyes and I'll be on my way
Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to leave alone
About the times I won't have to say

| JOE HILL - |
|
My will is easy to decide,
For I have nothing to divide.
My kin don't need to fuss and moan -
"Moss does not cling to a rolling stone."
My body? - Oh! - If I could choose,
To ashes I would it reduce,
And let the merry breezes blow
My dust to where some flowers grow.
Perhaps some fading flower then
Would come to life and bloom again.
This is my last and final will.
Good luck to all of you.

| MARBLEHEAD MORNING - |
| It's a Marblehead morning
colored cobblestone gray
Coming on strong to a New England day
The harbor's a forest of tall sailing trees
Getting ready to sail on a mid-morning breeze
CHORUS 1:
Fair is my captain, I long to tell him so
Haul away, heave away; he's going to sail away
Good times are passing by, high tide is running high
Haul away, heave away; he's going to leave today
For three hundred years of going to sea
The Marblehead men left their women to keep
A close watch upon the fine line between
The blue of the sky and the green of the sea
CHORUS 2:
Farewell, good Jonell
How I wish I could stay
Good-bye, first love of mine
Look for my sail on the first day of May
Our ancestors sailed on a day such as this
Widows-walk curtains hung in gray morning mist
While up on the commons a church chime would ring
And down on the landing a young maiden sings

Smoke in our eyes, wet wood and tears

Hiking to rainbows, sunsets and stars
Just finding out who we are
We will return there one lucky day
Our hearts will guide us, they've learned the way
People in cities can't understand
Falling in love with the land
Moon on the meadow, bugs in our ears
Smoke in our eyes, wet wood and tears. |

MY BACKPACK MY PONY AND ME
(REPEAT SONG) - |
|
Purple lights
In the canyon
That’s where I
Long to be
With my three
Great companions
My backpack my pony and me
Whippoorwill
In the willow
Sings a sweet melody
For my three
Great companions
My backpack my pony and me
No more goats
To be roping
No more strays
Will I see
Just my three
Great companions
My backpack my pony and me
Gonna hang
My sombrero
On the limb
Of a tree
For my three
Great companions
My backpack my pony and me

I want to sing before I leave you
One last song to show how much we have shared
A smile a tear have brought us closer together
Each of us leaves a part of our hearts here
Time passes by you know it goes too quickly
Seems like we've just arrived and it's time to go
So take all that we have shared together
Kindle it gently in your heart 'til it glows
The roads we take may not always be easy
They may take time, patience, and care
You know you'll always have a friend you can turn to
If that road gets too tough to bear
There's one last song I want to sing before I leave you
One last song to show how much we have shared
A smile a tear have brought us closer together
Each of us leaves a part of our hearts here |

| ONE TIN SOLDIER - |
| Listen children to a story
that was written long ago
'Bout a kingdom on a mountain and the valley far below
On the mountain was a treasure buried deep beneath the stone
And the valley people swore they'd have it for their very own
CHORUS:
So go ahead and hate your neighbor, go ahead and cheat a friend
Do it in the name of heaven, you can justify it in the end
There won't be any trumpets blowin' come the judgement day
On the bloody mornin' after, one tin soldier rides away
So the people of the valley sent a message up the hill
Asking for the buried treasure, tons of gold for which they'd kill
Came an answer from the mountain, "With our brothers we will share
All the secrets of the mountain, and the treasure buried there."
CHORUS
Then the valley cried with anger, "Mount your horses, draw your
swords!"
And they killed the mountain people, so they got their just reward
As they stood beside the treasure on the mountain dark and red
Turned the stone and looked beneath it, "Peace on Earth" was all
it said

| ON THE LOOSE - |
| CHORUS:
On the loose to climb a mountain, on the loose where I am free
On the loose to live my life the way I think my life should be
For I've only got a moment and a whole world yet to see
I'll be looking for tomorrow on the loose
Have you ever watched the sunrise turn the sky completely red?
Have you slept beneath the moon and stars, a pine bough for your
bed?
Have you sat and talked with friends though a word was never said?
Then you're just like me and you've been on the loose.
CHORUS
There's a trail that I've been hiking just to see where it might
go
Many places yet to visit, many people yet to know
For in following my dreams, I will live and I will grow
In a world that's waiting out there on the loose.
CHORUS
So in search of love and laughter I'll be travellin' 'cross this
land
Never sure of where I'm going, for I haven't any plan
So in time when you are ready, come and join me, take my hand
And together we'll share life out on the loose
CHORUS
As we sit and watch the sunset and the daylight slowly fades
Thinking about tomorrow and the friendships we have made
I will treasure them forever and I know you'll do the same
As long as we're still out there on the loose

| THE RAINBOW CONNECTION - |
| Why are there so many songs
about rainbows,
And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
And rainbows have nothing to hide
So we've been told and some choose to believe
I know they're wrong wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me.
Who said that every wish would be heard and answered
When wished on the morning star?
Somebody thought of that, and someone believed it,
Look what it's done so far.
What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing?
And what do you think we might see?
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers, and me.
Have you been half-asleep and have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name.
Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailor?
The voice might be one and the same.
We've heard it too many times to ignore it
It's something that we're supposed to be.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers, and me. |

| RAINBOW LOVE - |
CHORUS: We're a rainbow
made of children
We're an army just singin' our song
There's no weapons that can stop us
Rainbow love is much too strong.
I was born in Mississippi
Sayin' "Yes, sir" to all the men
But I found that it got me nowhere
So I'll never say it again
CHORUS
I was taught that black was evil
I was taught that white was good
But when you become a rainbow
All the colors are understood

| ROSE - |
| Rose, rose, rose, rose
Shall I ever see thee red?
I will marry at thy will
Sire, at thy will
Peace, peace, peace, peace
Shall I ever see thee come
I will wait forever and ever
Peace, peace, peace
Ding dong ding dong
Wedding bells on an April morn
Carve your name on a moss-covered stone
On a moss-covered stone
Mother, Father dig my grave
Dig it with a golden spade
Bring some friends and a turtledove
To show that I died for love
To show that I died for love |

| THE ROSE |
| Some say love, it is a river
that drowns the tender reed
Some say love, it is a razor that leaves the soul to bleed
Some say love, it is a hunger, an endless aching need
I say love, it is a flower, and you, its only seed
It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance
It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken who cannot seem to give
And the soul afraid of dying, who never learns to live
When the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long
And you think that love if only for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snow
Lies the seed that with the sun's love in the spring becomes the
rose |

| STREETS OF LONDON - |
| Have you seen the old man
outside the closed down market
Kicking up the paper in his worn out shoes
In his eyes you see no pride and held loosely at his side
Yesterday's paper telling yesterday's news
CHORUS:
So how can you tell me that you're lonely
And say for you that the sun don't shine
Let me take you by the hand
And lead you through the streets of London
I'll show you something that'll make you change your mind
Have you seen the old girl who walks the streets of London
Dirt in her hair and her clothes in rags
She's no time for talking, she just keeps right on walking
Carrying her whole life in two carrier bags
CHORUS
In the all-night cafe at a quarter past eleven
Same old man sitting there on his own
Looking at the world o'er the rim of his tea cup
Each tea lasts an hour and he wanders home alone
CHORUS
Have you seen the old man outside the seaman's mission
Mem'ries fading with the medal ribbons that he wears
In our winter city the rain cries a little pity
For one more forgotten hero in a world that doesn't care

| TODAY - |
| CHORUS:
Today, while the blossom still clings to the vine
I'll taste your strawberries, I'll drink your sweet wine
A million tomorrows shall all pass away
Ere I forget all the joys that are mine today
Well I'll be a dandy and I'll be a rover
You'll know who I am by the songs that I sing
I'll feast at your table, I'll sleep in your clover
Who cares what tomorrow may bring
CHORUS
I can't be contented with yesterday's glory's
I can't live on promises winter to spring
Today is my moment and now is my story
I'll laugh and I'll cry and I'll sing

| WE'RE ON WAY (repeat song)- |
| Italicized
words are not repeated but are sung by all
And so we say
But with a sigh
To camping days
Our fond good-bye
We cannot stay
No reason why
We're on our way
Great God we're on our way
We've given you
A special part
Of what is now
Our Fav'rite heart
We've given you
A world's best start
We're on our way
Great God we're on our way |

| WYNKEN, BLYNKEN, AND NOD - |
| Wynken, Blynken, and Nod one
night sailed off in a wooden shoe
Sailed on a river of crystal light into a sea of dew
"Where are you going and what do you wish?" the old moon asked the
three
"We have come to fish for the herring fish that live in this beautiful
sea
Nets of silver and gold have we" said Wynken, Blynken, and Nod
The old moon laughed and sang a song as they rocked in the wooden
shoe
And the wind that sped them all night long ruffled the waves of
dew
The little stars were the herring fish that lived in the beautiful
sea
"Now cast your nets wherever you wish, never a'feared are we!"
So cried the stars to the fishermen three, Wynken, Blynken, and
Nod
All night long their nets they threw to the stars in the twinkling
foam
Then down from the skies came the wooden shoe, bringing the fishermen
home
'Twas all so pretty a sail it seemed as if it could not be
And some folks thought 'twas a dream they dreamed of sailing that
beautiful sea
But I shall name the fishermen three, Wynken, Blynken, and Nod
Wynken and Blynken are two little eyes and Nod is a little head
And the wooden shoe that sailed the skies is a wee one's trundle
bed
So shut your eyes while mother sings of the wonderful sights that
be
And you shall see the beautiful things as you rock in the misty
sea
Where the old show rocked the fishermen three, Wynken, Blyken, and
Nod
Wynken, Blynken and Nod
